Currently working on getting outdoors more, taking more pictures and doing more art projects. Seeing old friends and not being tied down to anything, well besides Remy.
Doing nothing got old so I started working again, first as a nanny then full time at a paddle board shop. In the fall of 2014 I returned to school at Sierra Nevada College and once again got back into my art, photography and writing. Combining them all into books that i could now make. They represent my life a messy beautiful accumulation of talents. |
Brooklyn will always have a piece of my heart. Moving from Vermont to NYC in 2011 definitely left me shell shocked. I wanted to see the world and learned it was not filled with all of the greatest things. The city showed me greed, gluttony, and a lot of people who cared about one thing, and one thing only, money. This city and people were estranged from reality as i knew it. I did learn a lot and take from the city that the beauty was where you looked for it. I got back into my hobbies and art and school forced me to really focus on myself which like everything in my life made me my own worst enemy, realizing all of the problems from my past i had just suppressed and not truly dealt with. The city never made me comfortable, so i decided to move to California. I will forever miss walking everywhere, the subway, the food, the entertainment, the art culture. One thing from the city I feel out in California is the feeling that anything is possible. |
